How To Clean A Microwave?
A microwave is an excellent home utility. It can provide hot and fresh food at any time and without any special effort. But cleaning a microwave is a tedious thing. Some special steps are required to do it. One should not run from cleaning a microwave, because only a healthy microwave is able to provide healthy food. This article provides some tips about cleaning a microwave with minimum effort and in minimum time.

Steps to clean a microwave
1) Take a bowl and fill it (half) with water, add a tablespoon of the vinegar in the water. Now place this bowl inside the microwave and switch it on for 5 minutes. This will loosen the dirt deposited on the internal walls of the microwave.
2) After this, remove the bowl from microwave and wipe the walls of microwave with the help of some clean towel. This will remove all the internal dirt of the microwave (in this way one will not need to use any chemicals for internal cleaning of a microwave).
3) Dismantle the glass tray of the microwave and wash it like a normal dish, one can even use a dishwasher for this purpose.
Other method
a) Take a lemon and cut it in two pieces, now place these pieces at the microwave plate (cut-side down) along with a tablespoon of the water.
b) Switch on the microwave for 1 minute, this causes steaming of the microwave and warming of the lemon.
c) After this step, one can wipe the internal walls of the microwave as mentioned above.
d) One can also use the hot lemon pieces to wipe out the internal sticky dirt, because warmed lemon will act as a natural cleanser against deposited dirt of the microwave.
Some important tips
a) After cleaning, one should leave a microwave open for some couple of minutes, for proper drying of the microwave.
b) One should cover the food before cleaning it. This will keep a microwave clean.
c) Take a bowl, half filled with the water and put some drops of lemon in it. Now, place this bowl inside the microwave and switch it on for 1 minute this will eliminate the internal smells of the microwave.
d) When a microwave is not in use, then one should place some baking soda inside it; this will keep a microwave fresh and clean. But before using the microwave one should remember to remove the baking soda.
e) A microwave should be cleaned after regular intervals of time. One should clean a microwave 2 times in a month.
f) One should use the scrubber in order to wash the dish plates of the microwave. This is helpful in removing the sticky dust of the plates.
Warnings
a) One should not use harsh chemical cleaners in order to clean a microwave, because this will reduce the efficiency of the microwave. And presence of chemical steam in a microwave makes it useless to warm the foods.
b) After cleaning, one should not forget to replace the turntable or glass tray.
