How To Get Rid Of Body Odour?
Name it what you may, you can call it ‘glowing’ , ‘dewing’, ‘perspiring’ or any one of those pretty words you can think of, but the underlining concept is: it doesn’t smell good when one is smothered in sweat! So here are a few simple tips, which, if followed, will leave you without having to worry about the stench problem in summers:
Step 1:-
It is the simplest and the best of all steps. Just bathe every day and use your towel only once.
Step 2:-
Watch what you are eating!
There is a famous saying in the East, that the food you eat affects your body and mind. Amazingly, it is found to be true. There is a direct correlation between the kind of food one eats and the resulting body odour. The reason is that food is processed by the body and distributed throughout the body for supplying energy to the cells. And when the weather is hot, little drops of sweat come out of our body with a smell that is characterized by the food we eat.
Other possible reasons are diseases like fungal infection and liver diseases. If there is a medical problem, the best way out is to consult a doctor.
To avoid the stench caused by food one can take following precautions:
(1) Avoid refined sugar, bacteria feed on it and because of the bacteria body odour gets sharper.
(2) Alcohol and tobacco are known to contribute to foul odour so avoid them.
(3) Try staying cool and washing yourself thoroughly with soap and water.
Step 3:-
Exercise yourself
Jogging in the morning causes sweat to come out. The sweat stinks, but the brighter side of the fact is that the sweat will clean your body pores and they will not stink during the rest of the day.
Step 4:-
The hair under you arms: remove them!
Next question can be something like this: what is it that makes the problem worse? A straightforward answer would be the ‘hair’ or ‘overgrown hair’ under your arms. And as the saying goes, prevention is better than cure, so the first step should be to simply remove them. It not only makes your underarms look nice but also makes your deodorant more effective.
Step 5:-
Deodorants, do they work?
According To some experts, they do while others say they don’t. A better alternative could be to smother your underarms with baby powder or first take some deodorant in your hands and then rub it under your arms.
Step 6:-
There are some small steps involved:
(1) Don’t sleep in a dirty bed.
(2) Stress worsens the problem of stench so be optimistic.
(3) If possible, keep some water drenched towelettes with you and when you are stressed just mop your sweat with them.
