How To Get Rid Of Unibrow?

No one wants to be seen in public with one eyebrow, especially when that brow reaches from one side of the forehead all the way across both eyes to the other side! In some places on the planet this is not a problem but in many cultures separate eyebrows are the only acceptable look.

You can do something about the extra eyebrow hair above the nose that seems to connect two eyebrows. If there are only a few obvious hairs you can use a good pair of tweezers to pluck them. You will probably have to repeat this process occasionally but this will provide the look you are after.

Nearly everyone needs to pay some attention to their eyebrows occasionally, though some individuals might have to focus on eyebrow maintenance more often. It’s important not to get so frustrated or become so obsessed that you resort to massive shaving of the eyebrows. If you can devote a few minutes to trimming and/or plucking occasionally you should be able to get rid of any trace of unibrow.

Careful Care
You probably shouldn’t use chemical treatments or hair removal products around your eyes. The depilatory process is fine for other areas of the body but might cause problems when used for removal of eyebrow hair. Depilatory products can damage the eyes.

Some of the procedures used to thin or trim eyebrows will also work well for getting rid of unibrow. Don’t try to be perfect when trimming eyebrows or removing unibrow. Just be as thorough as possible when removing that extra hair between the eyes. You might consider waxing if you use a small wax strip and are very careful not to remove hair from the eyebrows. It is probably best to wax only the very center of the unibrow area and then pluck the rest. Be careful when waxing because you can create straight lines that look artificial.

Plucking might cause some minor pain but it is a good way to remove a few hairs and to get rid of a few eyebrow hairs at the inside edge of each eyebrow. If you have a friend or family member who is willing to help they might be able to do the small amount of waxing and even the fine-tuning with tweezers.

Unibrow and More
How to Get Rid of UnibrowWhen you are thinking about getting rid of that unibrow you might want to give some thought to what the eyebrows look like before and after treatment. When you remove the unibrow will your eyebrows look thick and heavy? Will you need to trim or pluck some of the hairs in the eyebrows that remain after removing the unibrow?

It’s common for people who develop unibrow to have dark, thick eyebrows as well. This may be the time to reduce thickness with some careful plucking. With a combination of some of these methods, such as waxing and plucking, you should be able to get rid of unibrow and get the eyebrow appearance you’ve always wanted.
