3. You should not drink alcoholic beverages before going to sleep. If you have serious problem of snoring, then you should take tranquilizers, antihistamines or sleeping pills before going to the sleep. It will cause muscle relaxation and hence it reduce snoring.
4. You should avoid the use of dairy products, because they cause development of mucus and when you go to sleep it causes snoring.
5. Snoring is also linked with overweight. So if you are overweight, then you should try to loose some weight. It will increase the space of your air passages and hence it helps in dealing with snoring.
6. You should prefer to sleep on your side in stead of sleeping on your back; this will participate in reducing the snoring. In order to restrict the “back sleeping”, you may sew a tennis ball at the back of T-shirt. Now, the discomfort of “back sleeping” (caused by the ball), will force you to sleep on your side.

12. You can also use nasal strips. Put the nasal strips on your nose before going to the sleep. It will reduce snoring.
13. In order to deal with snoring, you should stop smoking. But if it is not possible, than you should avoid smoking before the sleep.
14. Anti-snoring pills are also helpful to reduce the snoring.
