What Causes Headache?
We all know that headache is not a disease. It is an indication which shows some disorder in the part of the body or the nervous system.
Do you know what causes headache?
The brain is the main part of the body. It is protected by the skull. The arteries and veins present in the skull are very sensitive to pain. Several
tissues located around the brain are also sensitive to pain. We get pain in the head as the veins, arteries or tissues get hurt. Whenever our eyes, nose, teeth, ears or muscles get hurt, their pain reaches the particular areas which are sensitive to pain and causing headache. Headache can be caused by the muscles situated near the head and above the neck, if they get contract because of any reason. Brain tumor also causes headache in the area where it is located. Head injuries, dislocations in the bones of neck, hunger, fever, loss of sight also causes headache. Headache is also caused by the mental tension, anger, excessive thinking, anxiety etc. In these circumstances, the veins, arteries and muscles under go certain changes and cause headache. We should consult a doctor if the headache persists for a long time.
