Where Is The Noah’s Ark?

Where is Noah’s Ark?
If a Christian activist, Daniel McGivern, is to be believed, then Noah’s Ark can be found somewhere on Mount Ararat in Turkey. He used satellite images of the mountain taken by DigitalGlobe, a satellite imagery company. He planned an expedition in 2004 and even a name was chosen for the expedition team ‘Dream Team’. What happened of the expedition is still not widely known.

Noah's Ark

Noah’s Ark was a mythical boat which was made by a Noah after a revelation from God. According to the story Noah received a revelation that God was planning a heavy rain fall which would last for forty days and forty nights. The cause mentioned in the story is the loss of uprightness among humans. The thought of terminating everyone but Noah was an exception. The story says Noah was virtuous so, he was told of the plans beforehand so that he should save himself, his family and the two animals of every species on the earth. The boat is speculated to be 137 meters in length, 25 meters wide and it was 14 meters high. When the Great Flood subsided, the Noah’s Ark is believed to have landed atop Mount Ararat a volcanic peak in the Turkish mountains.

Although the story is taken as a myth by many but there are still a number of people in the worlds of Christianity, Islam and Judaism who are hard to convince regarding its veracity. First the Russians, and later the CIA (America’s secret service) also tried to find the ark in 1918 but its existence has never been proved scientifically.
