When the wish and the goal are to attract a woman, no advice rings more true than “you never get a second chance to make a first impression.” For this reason, your appearance and your first words should be as close to “right” as you can make them.
This doesn’t mean you have to go overboard and get dressed up in your best suit or a tuxedo. You don’t have to say just the right thing by quoting some obscure but beautiful poetry. But it’s necessary to be clean, well-groomed and organized. Appearance and choice of clothing are very important.
One thing that will certainly turn a woman away is being overbearing. It’s wise to be subtle, to do things carefully and without a lot of fanfare. A nice but not over-powering fragrance will work just fine as an extra touch. Women generally don’t like too much of a good thing, whether it’s men’s cologne, jokes or words.
Before you make any contact by phone or in person you should give some thought to treating her like she is the most important thing in your world. Try to set your mind on this idea and constantly remind yourself to focus on her when you are with her. *It’s best not to invite her to something that you love (football game, your favorite movie etc.) because this will probably be a distraction.
One of the best pieces of advice ever given about making a woman feel good is this: Listen to what she says and ask her to tell you about it. It’s well-known that many women feel much better if they are able to talk about things that interest them and know that someone is really listening. Remember, this isn’t about you!
There are some other important tips that will work when you wish to attract the attention of a particular woman. There may be a few women who will be attracted by cash and whose attention will be held by the big spender. But this isn’t a good recipe for a long-term relationship.
Women do like men with some education, men who are well-read or at least knowledgeable about a few interesting subjects. Women do pay some attention to what a man does to earn his salary. Women are more interested in what the man does and that he is living comfortably. Being rich may be attractive but it isn’t a solid foundation for many women.
Unfortunately, many women put emphasis on a man’s height and weight, as they look for taller men with somewhat athletic builds. But this is not the final factor in attracting a woman. Above all, you have to be yourself and offer the best of what you have. While you may be able to improve your appearance and improve your financial situation to help you attract someone, you won’t be able to change your height. Losing some weight, however, might help.
The bottom line in attracting a woman is this: Women are generally looking for someone who will provide or help provide. They are looking for someone who will listen and try to understand. Being attentive and genuine will take you a long way.
