The release of Prime Video’s forthcoming spy thriller trailer has been deferred from its initial date of March 2nd 2023. The adjournment is due to a tragic train accident in Greece on Wednesday, March 1 where a freight train collided with a passenger train, taking at least 43 lives and causing severe injuries.
Neither Priyanka Chopra Jonas (the series’ star) nor the creators offered any apparent connection of the trailer video to the Greece train. Still, the first-look images from the series displayed the characters in a luxury train. It was also expected to feature scenes of a train accident.

Prime Video Released a Mysterious Teaser of Citadel on Instagram
On February 27th, 2023, Amazon Prime Video released the first-look images of Citadel alongside a ‘hidden’ teaser. The idea in which Richard Madden (Mason Kane) is staring at Priyanka C. Jonas (Nadia Sinh) has a QR code that takes viewers to the hidden trailer.
Fans should scan the QR code, which takes them to Instagram, connecting them to Citadel’s account, precisely in the Direct Messages. The page automatically verifies your details, prompting you for a password within the image.
After entering the password, viewers will access and unlock the teaser, which the account sends soon after, accompanied by a text, “Everything you know is a lie.”
What’s the Content of the Teaser?
Like most teasers, this one is also relatively short, starting with Bernard Orlick (played by Stanley Tucci) backing up that “Everything you know is a lie” followed by “What you were was a myth. It was Citadel” while it depicts a chaotic background.
Who are Behind Citadel?
Citadel is created by Bryan Oh and Josh Appelbaum for Prime Video, alongside chief producers Patrick Moran, Newton T. Sigel, Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, André Nemec, David Well, Scott Nemes, Angela Russo-Otstot, Mike Larocca, Joseph Russo, and Anthony Russo.
